Why the range is so wide for one nameplate
“Corvette” covers two genuinely different cars in the C8 generation, and the price gap between them is the single biggest factor in what you will pay.
The Stingray is the car that made the mid-engine Corvette famous. Its 6.2-liter V8 produces 495 horsepower and moves it to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, which places it alongside supercars costing three times as much. For most drivers it is more than enough car, and it is the sensible choice for a first Corvette day.
The Z06 is a different proposition. Its 5.5-liter LT6 is a flat-plane-crank engine built by hand, producing 670 horsepower and revving to 8,600 rpm. It is the highest-revving V8 ever fitted to a production American car, and it sounds closer to a Ferrari than to anything from Detroit. In Arizona the calendar matters more than it does almost anywhere else. Rates soften through the deep summer and firm up from autumn onward, with the highest demand around Barrett-Jackson in January, the WM Phoenix Open in February, and spring training. If your dates are flexible, a midweek day outside those windows is meaningfully cheaper than a Saturday in January.
Length of rental
Single days carry the highest per-day rate. Multi-day and weekly bookings are priced more favorably per day, so if you are weighing a two-day booking against one, the second day rarely costs the same as the first.
